The system is fragrance-free and dosed for daily use across skin types — every percentage is chosen to work consistently, not just on paper. Still, patch test 24 hours before starting, especially if your skin reacts easily.

How to use

Your daily routine.

Morning

  1. Wet face and pump The Wash onto fingertips.
  2. Massage in circular motions for 60 seconds, then rinse thoroughly.
  3. Apply The Shield at least 15–20 minutes before going outdoors.
  4. Reapply The Shield every 2–3 hours in direct sun.

The Wash contains Lactobionic Acid (PHA). Always follow with The Shield — SPF is non-negotiable after every use.

Evening

  1. Cleanse with The Wash — removes sunscreen, excess sebum, and surface pigment.
  2. Pat skin dry, then apply 2–3 pumps of The Fix across face and neck. Start with three nights a week and build up as your skin adjusts.
  3. Let it absorb fully. No need to layer anything on top.

The Fix is evening only — its actives aren't UV-stable. If your skin looks dull or feels tight, drop back to alternate nights. Never skip The Shield the next morning.

Tan isn't a surface stain. It's a biological response. Here's what's actually happening in your skin.

UV triggers your melanocytes

Every time UV hits your skin, specialised cells called melanocytes ramp up melanin production — your skin's natural defence against sun damage.

Melanin clusters near the surface

Melanin pigment deposits into the upper layers of skin, darkening areas of highest UV exposure. This is tan — not dirt, not dullness. Biology.

Normal cell turnover slows

Sun-damaged skin sheds cells more slowly than healthy skin. Melanin doesn't move out fast enough, and the tan sets in — sometimes for months.

Results don't happen overnight.
Here's the honest timeline.

Tan fades on its own in about four weeks. The problem is you go outside tomorrow. PROOFED speeds up the fade and protects what you've gained.

Week 1

Skin starts to feel different

Nothing dramatic yet. Most people notice skin feeling smoother and less rough before they see anything in the mirror. The actives are clearing dead surface cells and rebuilding hydration.

Texture first

Week 2

The glow shows up

Skin looks brighter and more awake. This is surface turnover doing its job — dull, pigment-carrying cells clearing out faster than they would on their own.

Tan starts lifting

Sun-exposed areas start looking more even. The tan line softens rather than vanishes — this is the point where most people can tell it's working.
